Application for BRCP Membership

There are two recognised routes for entry to the BRCP Register:

  1. The applicant has successfully completed, and Graduated from, a training course recognised by the ICNM/BRCP.
  2. The applicant has completed a training course not officially recognised by the ICNM/BRCP - in which case the application will be referred to the Registration Panel in the appropriate discipline.

Applicants who wish to Register at Practitioner level will be able to prove their ability and competence in making a Complementary Diagnosis. They will also agree to abide by the BRCP Code of Ethics and Practice.

It is a requirement of the Register that Practitioners have professional insurance which includes a £2.5 million cover of Indemnity for Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Products Liability where appropriate. Applicants have the option of joining the ICNM Block Insurance Scheme which is only available to BRCP Members. Other policies are acceptable if they meet this criteria. ICNM Block Insurance is invalid unless the Practitioner has gained, and maintains, Registration with BRCP.

The cost of joining the BRCP is currently £140 for the first year of Registration, and £70 for subsequent years. Applications to join additional Divisions/Practises of the BRCP cost a one-off payment of £35.

To make an application as a BRCP Member of the Register, please complete an application form, which can either be downloaded from this web-site, or available from the ICM office by asking for a BRCP application pack.
