The Institute for Complementary Medicine (ICM) is a UK registered charity that was formed in 1982 to provide the public with information on all aspects of the safe and best practice of Complementary Medicine through its practitioners, courses and research.
The ICM administers the British Register of Complementary Practitioners (BRCP) which is a Register of professional Practitioners and Therapists who have provided evidence to us of their individual competence to practise.

The relationship between ICM and BRCP is described in the next section - Policy Statement - which highlights the working arrangements between ICM and BRCP, and the benefits this working relationship provides to Members of the Register, and to the public.

Recent Exhibitions
The ICNM team attended two major events in October 2007 - CAMexpo and the Mind Body and Soul Exhibition. We were very pleased to see so many of our Members and supporters of CAM.
